When it became apparent that the forthcoming The Cable on the Shooting Table would not be ready for release this year, DEAR DEAD DELILA put into motion plans for a second 6-track EP to appease the masses. Released on All Hallow's Eve (hence the title), A.H.E features 3 songs from the forthcoming Cable CD - "Passed", "Masquerade", and "Nocturne". The other 3 tracks are at this point not being considered for release elsewhere. "Yesterday's Rain" was a collaborative effort between DELILA's Randall Rhodes and Karl Thor, a keyboardist whose only musical excursion was playing for SPANKING KATE, an ex-band of Rhodes. Also in that band was guitarist Robbie 'Niblos' Cook, whose former band LUGOSI'S DREAM was the unit originally responsible for "Bleeding Eyes". "Skulls and Snakes", meanwhile, was originally recorded by the vintage unit of DEAR DEAD DELILA. The version here, however, is quite different from that recorded by the earlier, virtually unrelated band.

Like A.H.E, 6.6.6 previews 3 tracks from the forthcoming Cable CD, in this case "This Nothingness", "Drenched", and "It Ends" (the latter a very different version than the one planned for release on the full-length, however). Two of the other tracks were Randall Rhodes collaborations recorded as 'b-sides' - "Ivory Tower", written with brother SD, and "The Face of Death", written with SEVENTH STAR's Phil Adams. The final track, meanwhile, marks what may be a musical first - a goth recording of a traditional Irish drinking song.

full-length CD coming later this year
