@ 16 October, 2008 - Finally, a 'new' site for 2008
Took us long enough, but we've finally given you something new to look at, a bit of a
facelift around the site. Most of the changes are actually behind-the-scenes or vestigal... you
probably won't even notice them. We did at least give you some nice new colours to look at, though.
Expect a few other changes and updates between now and the end of the year, including, hopefully,
news on The Cable on the Shooting Table.

@ 04 October, 2008 - ShadowRealm
Outside of Delila, Randall is now the lead vocalist for
ShadowRealm. This doesn't signify the end of
Delila by any means... it just gives him another creative outlet. More 'metal' than any of his
other recent projects, it's a good opportunity to try something different.

@ 23 September, 2008 - At last, a full-length release
But not the one we've all been so anxiously anticipating. Today marks the release of
Lies in Wait in the Inky Darkness, a 12-song album that includes all 12
songs from the earlier 6.6.6 and a.h.e EPs. Both originally released in 2006, they
were 'remixed and remastered' in June & July of 2007. In some cases, Lies in Wait includes
the 2007 remixed/remastered versions. In other cases, it includes even newer versions
of the previously-released tracks. The new release can be bought via the music
page of this site, or can be garnered through trade for your own gothic, ambient, or prog band's
CD. Or what the hell, any CD you happen to have laying around if one of us wants it.
Again, this doesn't disspell The Cable on the Shooting Table. While that CD is taking
considerably longer than expected, there are good reasons for the delay, and the end result will be
all the better for it. Look for that in 2009.

@ 08 July, 2007 - EPs remixed & remastered
Self-recording is like most everything else in this existence - the more one does, the better
one gets. And not only where recording is concerned, but also mixing and mastering. To this end,
both of Dear Dead Delila's EPs, 6.6.6 and A.H.E, have been remixed and remastered
(there also may be a re-recorded bit or two here and there, but nothing on the scale of Sy Snootles).
New EP orders will now garner you the remixed/remastered versions as opposed to the originals. In
addition, we will in time be replacing all of our tracks on IAC and last.fm
with the new versions.
Work is also resuming on DELILA's full-length debut, The Cable on the Shooting Table. All
progress had been temporarily stopped while the band focused on other projects, but the wind has
returned. Still no definitive release date, but it's possible it may be a 2008 thing rather than a
2007 after all. Some minor changes are being made to the track listing, to the extent that your EP
liner notes are no longer fully correct - some tracks previously destined for full-length have been
pulled, while others not destined have been inserted. Plans do change.

@ 30 April, 2007 - various band news
You'll likely notice a bit of a change to the site today. No, not the major site upgrade you
were expecting, but at least the background is green. Actually, there have been changes made
to the site. Most are minor, but we hope you find the site a little more practical and aesthetically
pleasing. Look for more diversions over the next few days without notice.
On the IAC front, DELILA was
nosed out for the Golden Kayak award in the Alternative Modern Rock category by NOFX. Hey, if you can't go home with the prize, they might as well give it to
somebody worthy. Randall's other project, DWELL, did walk away with the Golden Kayak for metal, however.
Elsewhere, Randall and Katherine have both amicably backed out of the EL ADONIS project. They both wish the band the best, but things are getting more
active on other fronts, and a decision had to be made. Meanwhile, EL ADONIS drummer Brent Stalnaker
has offered his services to DELILA if/when the band hits the stage. Further news on different fronts
coming over the next few weeks.
